Norman is the Information Technology Manager for the Department of Housing (DOH) of the County of San Mateo. Norman has been with the department for more than 33 years and has had a variety of roles and positions in housing and community development as the department and affordable housing and community services in the County has changed and adapted. In addition to Information Technology, Norman also handles a lot of the other infrastructure needs of the department including Facilities; Safety & Security; Employee Engagement, Spirit & Wellness; Asset Management; and Web, Communications & Social Media to name a few.
Born in San Francisco (and a lifetime fan of the Warriors, Giants & 49ers), Norman lived in the Westborough area of South San Francisco area from the age of three until the late 80’s when he moved to unincorporated San Mateo, where he still lives with his family. Norman graduated from South San Francisco High School and has degrees in business, computer science and accounting from schools including Skyline College in San Bruno, Heald Business College in San Francisco and St. Mary’s in Moraga (go Gaels!).
